Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC) has partnered with the WMG Academy for Engineers - Coventry to deliver part of this academic year's syllabus to BTEC Level 3 Engineering students. TMETC has been one of the Academy's business partners since its foundation in 2014.

Since November 2015, TMETC has provided the customer scenario for the 'Engineering Design' module. The aim of the module is to give learners the opportunity to explore the design process and how it is applied within an engineering context.

Members of TMETC's Body, Trim and Lighting team have led the company's support, giving presentations to the students when the module began and inviting them to an open day as the module progressed to understand first-hand the function and capabilities of the team.

The students are due to complete the module in July 2016 and will give final presentations to their teaching staff and TMETC representatives.
